Scott has created two collections of traditional Irish tunes for Young-at-Heart Fiddlers, Cellists and Violists, which he uses extensively in his teaching.  Each collection is available in book form for fiddle, viola and cello, and each collection has been recorded on CD, as an aid to learning the tunes. NOTE: viola books are now out of print but you can still download the PDFs!

Book ll offered here is Scott's second collection of traditional tunes, has become a favorite of teachers looking for the perfect collection to introduce to students who are new to fiddling. Helpful suggestions are added with each tune...sort of a mini lesson with Scott! Harmony parts and guitar chords make group playing fun.

Book II CD offers a practice section also. The tunes are each recorded twice, the second time with the melody recorded very softly, so that students can play along
