Description
Scott has created two collections of traditional Irish tunes for Young-at-Heart Fiddlers, Cellists and Violists, which he uses extensively in his teaching. These collections are available now as MP3 and PDF downloads for fiddle, viola and cello.
Book 2 for Viola, offered here features 15 popular Irish session tunes arranged with harmony parts and guitar chords. Scott includes notes to musicians describing techniques for replicating an authentic Irish fiddling style. Teachers are encouraged to try the tunes in group ensembles and orchestra classes!
Each MP3 includes all the fiddle and cello parts exactly as they appear in sheet music with guitar added.
