Walker’s Walk Variations for String Orchestra

These variations have parts designed for beginners as well as more advanced players performing at the same time. Violin 2, Viola 2, and Cello 2 are for beginning players (Suzuki Book 1). Violin 1, Viola 1 and Cello 1 are for more advanced players (Suzuki Book 2 level). There is a featured section for violin, which could be played as section or a solo that is appreciated and a bit tricky. There is a section that features the cellos and the violas, which is a lyric part that takes the advanced cellists into third position, in unison with the violas who are in bottom of their register.
